Following the footsteps of his elder brother Bellamkonda Sreenivas, Ganesh Bellamkonda is now gearing up to make his debut as an actor. Sreenivas already shot to fame in Telugu and is now prepping up to make his debut in Bollywood with the remake of Chatrapathi. On the flip side, Ganesh’s debut film is reportedly shelved and his father Suresh is aiming at a relaunch soon.
According to the sources, Ganesh’s father Bellamkonda Suresh is planning to remake Vivah in Telugu. Apparently, he also bought the remake rights of this movie. The industry sources claimed that Uppena fame Krithi Shetty will romance Ganesh in this flick. Currently, the makers are searching for a suitable director and the shoot may commence in the latter half of this year.
Starring Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao in the lead roles, Vivah is a 2006 family drama directed by Sooraj Barjatiya. It was a huge hit at the box office and especially, the songs still remain on the playlists of many Hindi film lovers.
Meanwhile, Ganesh’s first film is said to have called off, after shooting a major chunk. More details on the current project will come out soon.
Bellamkonda Suresh also bought the remake rights of Dhanush’s Karnan for Sreenivas.
