Popular director and screenwriter Christopher McQuarrie is best known for his works in the Mission Impossible franchise. He wrote and directed Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation and Mission Impossible: Fallout. He is also directing the ongoing project Mission Impossible 7.
From the last few days, it is being reported on some websites that Prabhas is in consideration to play a key role in MI:7. An enthusiastic fan directly asked McQuarrie about the credibility of this news. Responding to him politely, the director said that there is no truth in it.
The fan’s question read, “@chrismcquarrie there is a viral news trending on Indian news channels that an Indian actor named Prabhas has been roped in MI7 for a key role. Can you please confirm whether it is true or not?” Responding to him, McQuarrie said, “While he‘s a very talented man, we’ve never met. Welcome to the internet.”
MI:7 features Tom Cruise in the lead role. The film is currently in the production stages and is aiming for a release in July 2022.
