According to the sources, Kajal recently signed a film under the direction of Jayashankar. This upcoming filmmaker made his debut with Santosh Shoban’s Paper Boy, which was a disaster at the box office. Recently, he made an OTT movie called Vitamin She. Apparently, Jayashanker narrated a female-oriented thriller subject to Kajal and she was flattered by it. We hear that this project will go on the floors soon and will be bankrolled by a popular producer.
Kajal seems to be following the route of another star heroine Samantha by signing female-oriented flicks. She can get offers from big directors if needed but she is going with young filmmakers.
Is this an overconfident decision or a gutsy decision? At this stage, Kajal does not have anything to lose. She played the leading lady alongside star heroes in different languages.
