Dhanush and Karthik Subbaraj teamed up for the first time for the film Jagame Thandhiram. The film is releasing directly on Netflix without a theatrical release. The film will have a release in Telugu with the title, Jagame Tantram. Both the versions will be available on Netflix from the 18th of this month. The film unit is busy with promotions and they held a space session on Twitter last night. Ever since Twitter launched spaces, the session organized by team Jagame Thandhiram is attended by a large number of listeners.
As per the numbers, over 17000 listeners attended the Jagame Thandhiram space session last night. Dhanush, director Karthik Subbaraj, music director Santhosh Narayan, singer Dhee, other members from the team, the journalists, fans, and movie lovers are among the ones who attended the space. Dhanush who is not in India currently interacted for a little while and left the session. However, the film unit continued it later.
With more than 17000 listeners, the film’s space beat Zack Snyder’s previous Twitter space on Army Of The Dead. It is an all-time record on Twitter spaces. Following the success of this film on Twitter spaces, we are sure to witness more filmmakers making use of the platform to promote their films.
