Actress Anita Bids Goodbye To Acting

Published by

The new mom and actress Anita Hassanandani decided to bid goodbye to her acting career as she is looking forward to focusing more on enhancing her motherhood. She said that she has taken the decision earlier itself and wants to be a stay-at-home mom rather than a working mother. And we can totally understand as juggling between work and motherhood is an exhausting task.

Earlier, we have had many actresses who took a sabbatical after becoming a mother, but Anita’s decision shocked her fans to the core. “I had decided that whenever I would have a child, I would leave the industry and let go of my work. I always wanted to focus on being a mother. So it’s not about the pandemic, I would have either way left the industry, pandemic or no pandemic. I want to be at home with my kid,” Anita quoted.

The actress also further clarified that there is no confirmation on when will she be back because she never really gave a thought about it. “I am more focussed on staying safe at home amid the pandemic. Work is presently the last thing on my mind right now. I really don’t know when I will get back. Although I am doing some work here and there because of the contracts that I had signed with different brands,” she said.

We appreciate Anita for taking such a great step as it is vital for a mother to spend time at home and watch her kids grow into beautiful adults. The actress is married to Rohit Reddy in 2013 and they welcomed their first child Aarav Reddy in February this year. Anita has a massive fan following across the nation. Nuvvu Nenu, Sriram, Thotti Gang, Nenunnanu, Ragada and a few other Telugu films made her a prominent actress back in the early 2000s. She is also one of the leading TV actors in Hindi, who rose to fame with Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin 3 daily soap.
