Recently, Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan shared a special Facebook post regarding his passion project Dasavatharam on its 13th release anniversary. Kamal shared an insight into the idea of making this film and how he conceived it on the screen. This post went viral on social media. Meanwhile, popular Malayalam director Alphonse Puthren (Premam fame) made a special request to Kamal in the comments section of this post.
“Kamal Haasan sir, can you tell us how you shot for Michael Madana Kama Rajan? Dasavatharam is like Ph.D. in filmmaking. Michael Madana Kama Rajan is like a Degree course, sir,” commented Puthren. Kamal replied to him today and said that he will share the experiences of Michael Madana Kama Rajan soon.
“Will do soon. I don’t know how much of learning it will be for you. For me, it was, as I had mentioned, a masterclass. Talking about it after years teaches me new lessons,” he added.
Puthren is currently working on his next directorial film called Paattu, which features Fahadh Fasil and Nayanthara in the lead roles. On the flip side, Kamal is prepping up to start working for his next film Vikram, which is being directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
