Talking about the film Jersey, Shahid Kapoor says that it is very close to his heart. Shahid heaps praise on Nani’s performance and reveal that the Eega actor made him cry 5-6 times while watching the film.
Shahid connects the film to his personal life saying, “I am 40 and I could relate myself to the film Jersey, which tells about late success. I am one of those who tasted success very late. Jersey is a family film and it is very close to my heart.”
Shahid Kapoor also realized a very important aspect of his career after watching Jersey. The Kabir Singh actor says that he realized the importance of a good story and decided to bring good stories to the audiences at all costs.
Pankaj Kapur and Mrunal Thakur are also a part of this Jersey remake. Gautham Tinnanuri who directed the Telugu film is making his debut as a director in Bollywood with this prestigious project.
