‘KGF Chapter 2’ is one of the keenly anticipated films of this year. Initially the film was scheduled for release on July 16th but due to the second wave, the post-production works did not progress as anticipated. Last night hero Yash commenced the dubbing.
But the suspense on the release date continues. It is highly unlikely to meet the deadline of July 16th and so we are hearing a new release date. According to the buzz, the producers of ‘KGF 2’ are considering the date of September 9th. But there is a threat of Covid-19 ‘Third Wave’ in August and September and so the producers are not announcing any release date hastily.
Instead of finalising a release date in hurry, the producers want to take a call depending upon the situation in the country since ‘KGF 2’ will be getting a pan-India release. If there is no third wave or if there is less impact of the so-called wave, September 9th is the tentative date.
Simultaneously the producers are holding talks for the digital rights. Amazon Prime is showing a lot of interest but the deal is yet to be sealed. The makers are expecting a fancy price.
