Actress Nivetha Pethuraj slammed a restaurant in Chennai after she received home delivery with a bug in it. The actress placed an order from old Mahabalipuram Road in Chennai via the food delivery app, Swiggy. However, she was disgusted to find a cockroach in her meals.
The actress claims that this is the second time she is dealing with such repulsion and with her Instagram post, Nivetha lashed out at the lack of sanitation. She shared a picture of a bug in her food and wrote, “I have no idea what standards @swiggyindia and the restaurants now a days are maintaining. I found cockroach twice lately in my food. It’s very vital to inspect these restaurants on a regular basis and fine them heavily if not up to standards. For now, I request for you all to kindly report this restaurant so a hefty fine or cleanliness check is done. Moonlight takeaway omr.”
“And from the messages I’m receiving this apparently not the first time the restaurant added cockroach to their food. How can the restaurant be so reckless? Requesting @swiggindia to remove this restaurant from the app,” she further added. Now that the actress has also mentioned the restaurant name, it can be fathomed that the eatery might deal a rough patch for facing a complaint from a public figure. The crux of the matter needs to be dealt with and coming up with a clean image certainly takes ages.
The massive fan base of Nivetha Pethuraj and the post going viral will only make an individual think about what other violations and ill-procedures are going on there. On the work front, Nivetha is busy with Virata Parvam, Paagal and untitled Chandoo Mondeti’s projects in Telugu. The actress is also busy with two Tamil flicks, Party and Pon Manickavel.
