Kajal tells that there are several layers and dimensions to the character she is playing in the film. The actress is regularly meeting her director on Zoom calls to understand the character better and prepare herself for the shoot.

Uma is directed by Tathagatha Singha. The film is bankrolled by Avishek Ghosh and Mantaraj Paliwal from Miraj Group. The project is likely to go on floors by the year-end.
