Who Is That ‘Big Boss’ Behind MAA Controversy?

Published by

Even though the schedule of Movie Artists Association (MAA) election is yet to be out, the internal conflicts and group politics in MAA erupted. Actor Prakash Raj and Vishnu Manchu announcing their candidature, some interesting events occurred. Prakash Raj went on to introduce his panel members and to this Naga Babu extended full support.

But then Naga Babu’s comments have turned into a storm in teacup. He added that in the last four years, MAA’s reputation got a severe beating and he believes that Prakash Raj and his panel can revive MAA’s bad image. Current MAA President Naresh was upset with Naga Babu’s comments.

Not stopping here, Naresh reacted strongly to these remarks of the Mega brother in an interview. Suspecting a hidden agenda behind this whole controversy, Naresh opined that all this is being done to damage the image of MAA.

“I have clearly stated that I would not be contesting the MAA elections a second time but in my two years of tenure, I have done many good works. A few in the industry are deliberately trying to portray me as a villain and this is overshadowing the work I have done. This act throws the 900 members MAA in confusion but should I keep silent when such a negative campaign is being done against me,” said Naresh.

Questioning the hidden agenda, Naresh asked who is the Big Boss behind this whole row? “I have spent my own money of Rs 14 Lakh for the Bhima (Insurance) of MAA members and when informed the same to Chiranjeevi, he appreciated me. On the contrary, his brother is criticising me,” added Naresh.

Without taking the name of actor Prakash Raj who is contesting MAA elections, Naresh is unable to digest the fact that the former made some serious allegations on MAA. “Not even once he came to the MAA office but it baffles me that he is making accusations,” summed up Naresh.
