Malayalam star hero Fahadh Faasil is on a spree of releasing his films on OTT platforms. After the likes of C U Soon, Irul, and Joji, his another film Malik also opted for a digital release. Initially, the makers wanted to go for a theatrical release but the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown made them finally sell it to Amazon Prime Video. The trailer of Malik dropped about a while ago.
“A journey from the streets of Ramadappally to its throne. Trailer out now,” tweeted Amazon Prime Video’s official Twitter handle while sharing the trailer. Going by it, the film looks like an action drama that follows the life of Suleiman who turns out to be a messiah for a community. His rise from rags to riches and the factors that affected him in the journey might be the main crux of the movie.
Fahadh will be seen in different getups implying different age groups, in this movie. Malik is written and directed by Mahesh Narayanan, who earlier made the films Take Off and C U Soon. Nimisha Sajayan played the female lead in it. Vinay Fort, Jalaja, Joju George, and Dileesh Pothan have played other pivotal roles. Malik premieres on Prime Video on July 15.
