Versatile actor Prakash Raj who is in the race for the Movie Artists Association (MAA) elections, has been very vocal. The other day Prakash Raj made a satirical tweet asking “When Are The Elections?” This tweet raked up a row and from Tollywood insiders we hear that the elections might get delayed.
Reacting to Prakash Raj’s tweet, Naresh replied harshly. “After a clear reply frm MAA reg election (copy enclosed) that a Resolution wz passd in general body & in view of Covid, If someone just asks repeatedly wn is da election? Its like someone asking can I jump into da pool before the water is filled. Our reply wud b pls try sir,” tweeted Naresh with a copy of mail sent to Prakash Raj.
The mail copy mentions that the discussion for elections for the period 2021 to 2023 is done but due to Covid-19 crisis, AGM could not be hosted by the current body. Regarding the same an SMS was sent to all MAA members.
Due to the inability to conduct the elections, the MAA AGM has approached UV Krishnam Raju who is the Disciplinary and Reconciliation Committee Chairman and the decision is pending with him.
