After Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan tested positive for novel Corona Virus, the Bollywood industry and Indian film fraternity was shocked. With the virus spreading fast and the number of cases are rapidly increasing, the fear among the citizens is growing.
The latest is another Bollywood celebrity’s family members have tested positive for Covid-19. Noted actor Anupam Kher’s mother and brother are the latest to test positive for Corona.
None other than Anupam himself revealed the news. However, Anupam confirmed that it is “mild” and she has been admitted to Mumbai’s popular Kokilaben Hospital. He said his other family members – brother, sister-in-law and their daughter were also tested positive. Fortunately, Anupam was tested negative.
“This is to inform all that my mother Dulari is found Covid + (Mildly). We have admitted her into Kokilaben Hospital. My brother, bhabhi & niece in spite of being careful have also tested mildly positive.I got myself tested as well & I have tested negative. @mybmc is informed.!,” wrote Anupam Kher on his Twitter page. Anupam has also posted a video message and asked everyone to take precautions.
With several celebrities and people from the creme de le creme of the society who are believed to take extra care are also testing positive for Corona, fear has gripped common people. Meanwhile, the BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation) has marked Amitabh Bachchan’s house Jalsa as the containment zone.
