Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy who is facing charges of YS Vivekananda Reddy’s murder, yet again skipped the CBI interrogation. On Friday morning Avinash Reddy was supposed to appear before the CBI at 11 AM but he sent his advocates and according to them the Kadapa MP’s mother suffered heart-stroke and he rushed to Pulivendula.
Avinash Reddy’s lawyers told the CBI that he was in Hyderabad and was supposed to make it for the interrogation. At the last minute he learned that his mother suffered a heart-stroke and so immediately rushed to Pulivendula. Avinash Reddy through his lawyers appealed to the CBI to schedule another date for the investigation.
The Kadapa MP has been questioned by the CBI in connection with the murder case, six times. Previously he was asked to appear before CBI on 16th of May. But the Kadapa MP skipped and added that he was preoccupied with work and so was unable to make it short notice. Yet the CBI reached his residence in Pulivendula and summoned him to appear on 19th.
All these events suggest that Avinash Reddy is avoiding CBI and that is making the case more suspicious. Based on the latest development, CBI would definitely summon Avinash Reddy again but if he skips one more time, there might be some strong actions from the probe agency.
