Telugu Desam Party will now be playing a crucial role in the coalition government formed by NDA. Nara Chandra Babu Naidu who put up a fight against YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh has secured victory in almost 16 constituencies. Now, there are reports that TDP will be given two portfolios in the central cabinet for sure.
As per the ongoing reports, Pemmasani Chandrasekhar who won as Guntur MP is reportedly going to become get a post in Ministry of State (MoS) berth. Pemmasani contested for Parliament for the first time and secured a massive victory to his name.
Additionally, Srikakulam three-time MP Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu is confirmed for cabinet ministry. However, there is still no certainty on which portfolio he will secure. On the other hand, GM Harish Madhur who won as Amalapuram MP for the first time is also in consideration for Deputy Speaker post or any other ministry if the Dy Speaker post did not materialize. He is the son of late former speaker Balayogi who died in the helicopter crash.
Two posts are reportedly confirmed for now and TDP has been asking for a third one. A big clarity on the same is expected shortly.
