After taking a break from acting, Shivaji ventured into politics and recently surprised with his blockbuster stint on the Bigg Boss show. After ending up with a third position on the show, he is back to acting and is now venturing into the OTT space with a web series titled #90s. The team launched the trailer yesterday, which seems to be centered around a middle-class family.
Actress Vasuki, known for her role as Pawan Kalyan’s younger sister in the movie ‘Tholi Prema,’ takes on the role of Shivaji’s wife, adding depth and nuance to the narrative. Notable YouTuber Mouli Tanuj steps into the shoes of Shivaji’s son. Shivaji plays a teacher in the series.
Set against the backdrop of the 1990s, the series offers viewers a captivating journey through the nostalgia-laden tapestry of middle-class life.
Jointly produced by Naveen Medaram and Rajasekhar Medaram under the banners of Amogha Arts and MNO Productions, the series benefits from Suresh Bobbali’s musical touch.
Directed by Aditya Hasan, the web series features a stellar cast, including Vasuki Anand, Mouli, Vasanthika, Rohan, and Snehal Kamat, each playing pivotal roles. Set to premiere on January 5th, the web series will be available on the Telugu OTT platform ETV Win.
