Kollywood star Vijay Sethupathi and Bollywood beauty Katrina Kaif have teamed up for the film “Merry Christmas,” directed by Sriram Raghavan. The film witnessed Vijay Sethupathi giving his all for the promotions, especially in the North. The makers edited two different versions of the film for Hindi and Tamil. It was premiered in theaters on January 12, 2024.
Now, there is some exciting news about the film having its global debut on Netflix. The makers are finally bringing the film to the OTT after an 8-week window period.
The movie will stream on Netflix in Hindi and Tamil from tomorrow (March 8, 2024). The Hindi version features Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, and Tinnu Anand in key roles, while the Tamil version stars Radhika Sarathkumar, Shanmugaraja, Kevin Jay Babu, and Rajesh Williams.
Produced by Ramesh Taurani’s Tips Industries and Matchbox Pictures Pvt. Ltd., with music by Pritam, Merry Christmas did not perform well at the box office.
