Padma, who joined Prime Video two years ago, has been instrumental in shaping the streaming platform’s Telugu content slate, collaborating with top creators to build an exciting array of original shows and films. With a background in film, Padma completed her course at New York University before starting her career in Hyderabad at Annapurna Film School. She quickly moved on to head the long-form division at Tamada Media, where she created several successful IPs and regional originals. Later, Padma had a brief stint at Zee5, overseeing their Telugu originals slate before making her move to Prime Video.
At Prime Video, Padma has been responsible for developing an impressive lineup of Telugu films and series, including the recent smash hit, The Rana Daggubati Show. With a thrilling slate of projects lined up for release, Padma is now expanding her role to scale up the Originals program in Tamil and Telugu. Her focus is on crafting compelling, bar-raising stories that resonate with audiences across South India.
