US: Indian Student Shot Dead In Columbus Gas Station Robbery

An Indian student Saiesha Veera (24) was shot and killed during a suspected attempted robbery at a Franklinton gas station on Thursday morning. Saiesha was in the final semester of his Masters.

Police received a 911 call from a friend of Saiesha about the shooting located at 1000 West Broad Street at 12:50 am.

Saiesha Veera was rushed to Grant Medical Center, where he died at 1:27 am. The surveillance video inside and outside the store was retrieved.

The detectives released pictures of the suspect connected to the shooting.
