Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and Janasena supremo Pawan Kalyan launched a bitter tirade on YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy over the mismanagement of TTD board in the last five years and hurting the sentiments of crores of Hindus.
Taking up the atonement deeksha of 11 days over the desecration of the holy Tirupathi Laddu Prasadam, Pawan Kalyan asserted that this decision is not aimed to gain any political mileage or to attack the opposition parties.
Pawan spoke to the media and made a harsh criticism of the previous government over the alleged irregularities by the then TTD board members nominated by Jagan Mohan Reddy.
He alleged that the board was involved in sale of ticket prices at exorbitant prices and also didn’t follow the long established practices in doing rituals to Venkateswara Swamy in Tirumala. Pawan fired on Jagan for backing the culprits who mismanaged the TTD Board.
Pawan challenged the previous government to come out in public and state the facts to the public. He questioned why Dharma Reddy and YV Subba Reddy are not talking about the issue.
He also fumed over the desecration of more than 300 temples by the previous government during 2019-2024. He once again called for observance of ‘Sanatana Dharmam’ which promotes religious harmony in our country.
He also questioned why the sentiments of Hindus are not being respected like other religions. He called for a fair investigation into the adulteration of the laddu and said the matter needs discussion at the Parliament and the state assembly. After completing 100 days of deeksha, Pawan will reach Tirupati and seek the darshan of Venkateswara Swamy.
