TRS Rajyasabha MP Dharmapuri Srinivas made a few interesting comments while speaking about his future with the KCR-led party.
“I honestly don’t know which party I’m in right now. I think it is better you ask KCR which party I belong to. I am doubting if I’m a Rajyasabha MP on behalf of TRS. The party leaders are not inviting me for any of TRS’s events,” Srinivas said.
Srinivas added that TRS hierarchy has been intentionally sidelining him in the recent past with their vested political interests.
“My younger son Aravind is with BJP and my elder son, Sanjay met with Telangana Congress chief Revanth Reddy. They have varied political interest and I’m okay with it. A few political opponents criticise us, saying three members from our family belong to three different parties. But I don’t see the problem in it,” he stated.
Srinivas hinted that his future with TRS is “uncertain” and said he will provide more updates in the days to come.
It is very much evident that all is not well between Srinivas and KCR. Not so long ago, Eatala Rajender was forced out of TRS and it appears to be that Srinivas will be latest veteran politician to leave the KCR-led outfit.
