Communist Narayana made some interesting predictions in case AP CM YS Jagan’s bail in connection with the disproportionate assets case gets cancelled. Narayana opined that Narsapuram MP Raghu Ramakrishna Raju made a grave mistake by filing a petition against Jagan’s bail and is doing everything to get it done.
Narayana believes that if Jagan goes behind the bars yet again then it would be the loss of opposition instead of the ruling party. “There would be no benefit for either MP RRR or the oppositions and history says the same. Recalling the incident when Jagan went to jail and resulted in stronger emergence of YSRCP, Narayana said it would boost the morale of the ruling party among the people of AP.
If midterm elections arrive in AP, Narayana predicted that YCP will win the polls with a thumping majority while there are high chances of oppositions losing credibility and deposits.
Suggesting the Narsapuram MP to fight like Etala, Narayana added just like how Etala resigned to TRS and joined BJP, Raghu Ramakrishna Raju should have resigned to YCP and joined any other party and fight against the Jagan government.
Narayana believes that Jagan gained huge sympathy among people when he was jailed for 16 months and this is also one of the prime reasons, Jagan’s YCP witnessed a landslide victory in 2019 general elections.
“People did not forget Jagan being in jail for a year and four months. If Jagan is sent to jail yet again, Jagan would become even stronger and in the elections, the same scene would repeat,” added Narayana.
These observations by Narayana can’t be ruled out but he made them on the sympathy factor but he should also take note of current AP political equations.
