The central government bigwigs have reportedly called the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan for a crucial meeting, say reports.
Going into the story, the YSRCP has been indirectly supporting the BJP high command for the past few years.
But all of a sudden, the Jagan-led party has been mounting pressure on the central government regarding the special status, Polavaram, and Vizag Steel Plant issue. YSRCP MPs are obstructing the parliament sessions to express their discontentment with the Center.
In the wake of the Pegasus data leak issue, the central government has been looking to amass support from regional parties. Now that YSRCP is taking a firm stand against the Center, BJP bigwigs have understood the party’s intentions and they have called Jagan for a truce.
The union home minister Amit Shah might be meeting with Jagan and assure him about the other burning topics in Andhra Pradesh politics.
The central government stalwarts are ready to meet a few of AP government’s demands and win back the loyalty of Jagan. It is said that the YSRCP chief might meet with a few union ministers by the end of this month. Details about his Delhi tour will be out in a day or two.
