The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) which is probing the mysterious murder of YS Viveka, has arrested an important person. Said to be one of the suspects, the CBI arrested Sunil Kumar Yadav in Goa.
A few days back, the watchman of Viveka’s residence Rangayya was questioned by the CBI. During that time, media reported that Rangayya has provided vital information to the CBI and he went on to claim that he saw new faces at Viveka’s place on the day of murder.
Based on Rangayya’s statement, the CBI is probing the case in this angle. Also in the statement, Rangayya mentioned the names of driver Dastagiri, Sunil Kumar Yadav and Erra Gangireddy.
Accordingly CBI has been looking out for Sunil Kumar Yadav. Learning that he is in Goa, a special team of CBI went to Goa and arrested him. He was produced before a local court in Goa for transit permits and after getting, he was brought to Kadapa on Tuesday morning.
Earlier CBI has questioned Sunil Yadav a couple of times but he approached the AP High Court that the probe agency is harassing him. Later Sunil vacated Pulivendula and none knew his whereabouts.
It’s been almost 57 days that the CBI is probing the case ever since the AP High Court has assigned the task. But the mystery continues.
