Ever since the appointment of Revanth Reddy as T-PCC chief, Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has been deeply upset. He made controversial comments, then cooled down but he is not over it yet.
After the grand success of Adivaasi-Dalita-Girijana Dandora in Indravelli, T-PCC chief Revanth Reddy is hell bent to organise one more event. On August 18th, another meeting was scheduled at Ibrahimpattanam. Regarding the same, the political affairs meeting is scheduled on Saturday to decide on the meeting and the arrangements to be made.
However it is learned that there might be a change of venue. The T-PCC is also thinking of Chevella constituency which falls in Komatireddy’s Lok Sabha constituency. Learning about this development, Komatireddy reportedly called Revanth Reddy and informed that he would not be available on the given date.
Komatireddy cited that he is taking part in a Parliamentary study tour and so he will be unavailable for the meeting. Komatireddy clarified to Revanth that the latter can go ahead with the meeting and he has no objections. This is evident that the gap between Komatireddy and Revanth is widening.
But the Congress insiders believe that Komatireddy is deliberately avoiding Revanth Reddy. Not just Komatireddy, even the likes of former T-PCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy, Jana Reddy and Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy are likely to skip. The above-mentioned names did not make it to the Indravelli meeting and so they are in thoughts to skip the Ibrahimpattanam meeting as well.
With seniors not cooperating with the new T-PCC chief, a section of Revanth supporters are planning to lodge a complaint with the Congress High Command. That’s a lot happening in T-Congress and leaders are still desperate for their own agenda instead of collective effort.
