Telangana PCC chief Revanth Reddy and TRS minister Malla Reddy indulged in an ugly verbal war and the language used by both the leaders is completely filthy and unacceptable in public domain.
Upon ending his two day fast at Muduchintalapally village, Revanth targeted minister Malla Reddy. “I have seen jokers and brokers but minister Malla Reddy is half joker and half broker,” said Revanth. The PCC chief also made wild allegations on Malla Reddy’s educational institutes and lands owned.
These comments did not go down well with Malla Reddy and he immediately reached Telangana Bhavan and called on the press. “Array Saley…” said Malla Reddy and slapped his thighs and shoulders to display his dominance before the cameras. These visuals have gone viral. Then the TRS minister called Revanth, a Loafer, Blackmailer and what not. Not stopping here Malla Reddy threw an open challenge to Revanth to resign as PCC chief and Malkajgiri Lok Sabha seat.
Malla Reddy’s counter invited flak from Congress Dalit leaders. They staged a seizure of Malla Reddy’s home in Hyderabad but the police resisted. While the TRS party supporters are defending the minister’s counter. With the language used by both the leaders, the issue turned into a storm.
Minister Malla Reddy said he would stick to his comments and added that hereafter he would not spare Revanth’s single comment of foul language. “At least Revanth should give respect to my age and I’m like a brother to him. If he continues to use the same language, I will retaliate,” said Malla Reddy this morning.
Umpteen times we have seen politicians throwing open challenges before the media and using filthy language. Not even in one instance, politicians accepted the challenge and debated in public sphere.
Time and again, politics are proving to be silly, a waste of time and only for entertainment to the people.
