Actor and humanitarian Sonu Sood met New Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal this morning amidst the wide speculations of his political entry and also in view of the Punjab Assembly elections scheduled later this year. The national media and even national parties have set their eyes on this meeting of Sonu with Kejriwal.
Post meeting Sonu and Kejriwal addressed the media and as usual commented that their meeting had no political significance. “There is nothing political in this meeting and I have always maintained a clear stand on politics. Of course politics is a great field as it gives an opportunity to serve people and do great service,” said Sonu Sood.
The ‘Acharya’ actor confessed that he received a lot of offers from many political parties. “Yes I was invited into politics by many outfits but I haven’t thought of entering politics yet,” replied Sonu to the media reports.
Complementing Kejriwal, Sonu said, “Not just me, the whole India has seen what’s happening in the national capital. If you have a great vision, it will translate.” These comments are undoubtedly meant for Kejriwal.
Throughout the press meet, Sonu and Kejriwal displayed good camaraderie but the details of their meeting are not disclosed.
