The Tamil Nadu Assembly has adopted the resolution opposing the three agriculture-related legislations i.e, Farm Laws brought by the government of India. This resolution was introduced in the TN Assembly by CM MK Stalin. Opposing this resolution AIADMK and BJP have staged a walkout from the Assembly.
This is now national news but more credits to Tamil Nadu CM Stalin who is taking very bold and useful decisions in the best interest of the people of Tamil Nadu. By doing so, Stalin is setting a huge example to the rest of the country.
Some of the decisions that Stalin took ever since he occupied the CM chair includes, providing a 7.5 percent quota for government school students for admissions into professionals courses in universities and colleges. This is one of the bravest moves and it would definitely increase the credibility of government run schools.
Then CM Stalin cut down the fuel prices which had risen to all time high in recent times. Petrol and Diesel prices are cheaper in Tamil Nadu by Rs 3 and with this the TN government would face a revenue deficit of Rs 1190 crore. Nevertheless, Stalin’s decision was much appreciated by the common man.
The other day Stalin took another sensational decision and it was a gesture meant for the main opposition in TN, AIADMK. Stalin asked the education department to retain the photos of former AIADMK CMs Jayalalithaa and Edappadi Palaniswami on 65 lakh school bags. These bags were supposed to be distributed for free to school children in the state.
Instead of placing orders for the new bags and kits, CM Stalin decided to distribute the unused bags and this in turn saved Rs 13 crore for the state’s exchequer. TN Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi was surprised by this decision of CM Stalin and he informed about the unhappiness among the DMK cadre.
CM Stalin reportedly replied that this is a government initiative not a political one. Opposition AIADMK welcomed the decision of CM Stalin and added that the attitude of DMK towards its opposition has changed under Stalin’s leadership.
Not stopping here Stalin even asked the officials not to remove Jayalalithaa and EPS photos from the Amma Canteens which provides food to the poor and needy at free of cost/ affordable price.
All these things have made Stalin the ‘Best Performing CM’ in India Today’s ‘Mood Of The Nation’ survey with 42 percent voting in his favour.
