The other day, Krishna and Godavari water disputes tribunals took part in a meeting to sort out the ongoing water distribution issue between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Speaking about the same, Telangana Congress chief Revanth Reddy levelled some serious allegations on Telangana chief minister KCR.
“KCR is printing Government Orderes(G.Os) in Pragati Bhavan and gifting them to YS Jagan. Everyday Telangana is losing 11 TMCs water to Andhra Pradesh, in accordance with the the 203 G.O signed by KCR,” he said.
Revanth stated that Srisailam and Nagarjuna Sagar projects will become useless if Telangana diverts 330 TMCs water to Andhra Pradesh, as per the G.O passed by KCR.
It is my gut feeling that KCR has formed a truce with Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
A few weeks ago, the governments of Andhra Pradesh indulged in a heated battle while speaking about Krishna waters distribution. Now, the governments have taken a passive stand on the same. However, Revanth Reddy is sheddding light on the issue again and it remains to be seen how Telangana government will react to his allegations.
