TDP MLA Atchennaidu’s arrest took place under dramatic circumstances and it shook the two Telugu states. For the whole day on Friday, Atchennaidu was travelling and evening he reached Vijayawada with the cops. He was produced before the ACB Magistrate.
After listening to the arguments, the ACB court in Vijayawada ordered to send Atchennaidu to Guntur Government Hospital (GGH) as he recently underwent surgery. Before admitting the Tekkali MLA in GGH, The cops have taken him to Vijayawada sub-jail at around 3:30 AM on Saturday. For about one hour Atchennaidu was made to wait in the escort vehicle of the cops and then let him inside. The jail authorities have allotted number 1573 to Atchennaidu which means the TDP leader is ‘Khaidi Number 1573.’
As per the ACB court’s orders, the cops need to submit the health status and treatment details of Atchennaidu to the court. Currently a team of doctors are examining the TDP leader.
Meanwhile the ACB court has allotted 14 days remand to A1 accused Ramesh Kumar in the same ESI scam.
