YCP firebrand leader and minister Kodali Nani made it clear that there was none in their party who would get frightened with Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan’s threats he would not spare anyone targeting him. “We are not sitting here wearing bangles,” he said.
As usual, he kept praising Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and said that there is no body on this earth who can scare him. “He has the blessings of public in the state, God in the heaven and late YSR. Nobody can even touch the nail of his toes,” he said.
“So far, nobody has ever taken birth who can frighten Jagan Mohan Reddy,” the minister asserted.
Yesterday, Pawan Kalyan said that he had borne too much of mental torture from his rivals. “If I had to live for myself, I would not have kept quiet if people abused or insulted me. Naara teesta. Okkodini koochobetti thokku theestha,” he said and his fans gave a round of applause.
On the online ticketing system, Kodali Nani said the government was trying to do justice to all the stakeholders in the cinema industry. The government will take a decision which is acceptable to all. It is not good to hike the price of movie tickets exorbitantly for two weeks after the release. Youngsters, who claim themselves to be fans of the film stars, try to buy the tickets at high price for which they steal and even beat their parents or relatives. This is not a good culture, he said.
Eariler, hit films used to run for 10 weeks too but now, films are being released in maximum number of theatres and price is being hiked without any control. Those at the helm of affairs are trying to loot people within days of release of the film. The government is trying to put a check to all these practices, he said and added that even some seniors in the film industry have made suggestions to that effect.
The film industry does not belong to just four heroes, four directors or four producers. There are thousands of people making a living out of it and the government is trying to do good to all of them, right from the light boys to the highest paid person in that industry, the minister said.
