Actor and Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna has fired on AP CM Jagan and his government. Accusing the Jagan-led AP government of failing to meet the drinking and irrigation demands of Rayalaseema, Balakrishna vowed to fight in New Delhi to meet the rightful demands of the drought-hit Rayalaseema region.
He said TDP would chalk out a plan to organise a protest in Delhi for the water needs of Rayalaseema region. Balakrishna made these comments at a meeting organised by the TDP party in Anantapur district’s Hindupur.
Balakrishna, who recently wrapped up the shoot of his forthcoming film Akhanda, has taken time off and participated in the Hindupur meeting which saw the attendance of several senior TDP leaders and local cadre who came in large numbers. During this meeting, Balakrishna got angry at the state government for not standing up for the people of Rayalaseema when it is needed.
Balayya also reminded his veteran father and late NT Ramarao and his efforts for Rayalaseema region. He stated that late NTR had strived hard for the people of Rayalaseema. Balayya’s presence has brought cheer and energy to the TDP’s cadre in Anantapur.
