AP CM Jagan Is Begging GoI: TRS Minister

Published by

TRS minister Prashanth Reddy commented in a controversial manner that AP CM YS Jagan is begging the government of India for funds. Prashanth Reddy took part in the TRS protest against the GoI over the procurement of parboiled rice.

“During the statehood agitation, many humiliated that separate Telangana will have to beg for everything. But under CM KCR’s leadership, we are making use of our own resources whereas the state of AP is in dire status. CM Jagan is begging the government of India for funds and even for day-to-day expenses they are dependent on GoI. AP is in deep debts and they have no other option than to accept all the decisions of GoI. Accordingly AP bowed down to Centre’s pressure to fix metres to agricultural bore-wells,” stated minister Prashanth Reddy.

Reacting to these comments YCP firebrand minister Perni Nani hit back at the TRS minister. “The comments of the TRS leader are inappropriate. Why is CM KCR constantly going to New Delhi? He too is asking funds from GoI and is ready to join the NDA government, if things were in KCR’s favour,” said Nani.

The YCP minister further added that CM Jagan doesn’t know to touch feet in closed doors and take out the collar outside. “Hyderabad was developed by everyone in erstwhile Andhra Pradesh and it’s a major source of revenue for Telangana now. Despite having a golden duck like Hyderabad, the Telangana government borrowed debts. This attitude of TRS leader is objectionable,” summed up Perni Nani.

The main issue of farmers got diverted into a verbal war between the Telugu states.
