Opposition leader Chandrababu’s crying incident has turned the political atmosphere of Andhra Pradesh. Janasena leader and actor Naga Babu is the latest to respond on the hot topic. Naga Babu has started his response with a disclaimer stating that his political inclination is Janasena and he has affinity towards BJP since his childhood. Naga Babu said he and Janasena would see both YSRCP and TDP as their political opponents but not personal enemies.
Naga Babu said it is so painful to watch a senior leader like Chandrababu Naidu crying. Empathising with Naidu’s pain, Naga Babu recalled how their own family went through the pain back then when their mom was abused. He said he could understand what Naidu would be going through and how hurtful he is. He said it is not correct to drag Nara Bhuvaneswari into the issue and make demeaning comments against her. Naga Babu said it is okay to target Chandrababu and Lokesh politically, but he said that personal comments against family members are not acceptable.
However, Naga Babu found fault with both YCP and TDP for this tradition. He said YCP leaders had made personal comments on TDP netas and TDP leaders had abused CM Jagan. Naga Babu recalled that CM Jagan himself raised these comments in a press meet and he was hurtful. Naga Babu said he also felt bad when such comments were made against CM Jagan.
Naga Babu recalled how he had criticised Naidu when he was in power and similarly YS Jagan when he is in administration. He said he is neutral towards both YCP and TDP. But he said the manner in which politics in AP is conducting is very disappointing. Naga Babu appealed to leaders of all political parties to confine criticism to work and profession. He asked both YCP and TDP leaders to target politically and criticise professionally.
