Big Plan Behind Jagan’s Move On 3 Capitals: Pawan Kalyan

Published by

With the repealing of the 3 Capitals aka ‘AP Decentralisation and Inclusive Development of All Regions’ bill and revoking CRDA Act, Amaravati farmers are in celebrations mode. While welcoming the development, Opposition parties have cornered the ruling party over its intent behind the sudden move.

Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan has responded to AP state government’s move to repeal the 3 Capitals Bill and said it would come up with a better and comprehensive bill. Reacting to it, Pawan said that the Jagan government has pushed the people of the state into deeper confusion with these confusing statements. Pawan suspected that there is a big plan behind Jagan’s latest move on repealing 3 Capitals Bill.

Pawan also alleged that it is a temporary move to mislead the court. He alleged that the Jagan administration has feared its failure legally as it is facing 54 cases in courts on this matter.

Talking about Jagan’s previous comments in AP Assembly when he was in Opposition, Pawan said that Jagan has changed his words after coming to power. He said that Jagan had stated that a capital shouldn’t be built in less than 30,000 acres and now he is talking totally opposite to it.

Empathising with the protesting Amaravati farmers who took the brunt for last two years and who have been at the receiving end by facing several legal cases imposed by state government, Pawan recalled that the farmers in Mandadam, Rayapudi, Chadalavada were lathicharged and created fear among them. Pawan said that all the political parties except YSRCP want Amaravati as the one and only capital of the state.

On concluding note, Pawan Kalyan said he respects and welcomes the farmers who voluntarily offered 33,000 acres of lands in Amaravati for the state capital. Pawan said that the government institutions and private industries should spread across the state. However, he said that the state capital should be only one and it should be Amaravati. He said that the Janasena party has no two thoughts about it.

On behalf of Janasena Party, Pawan demanded the AP government to establish a full-fledged state capital in Amaravati. He concluded by saying, “Jai Amaravati.”
