YCP MLA Ambati Rambabu fumed at Jana Sena president and film actor Pawan Kalyan for criticisnig their government unnecessarily in connection with the divestment of Vizag Steel Plant. The YCP government has been doing everything to stop privatization of VSP in a democratic manner, he said.
Launching a counter attack to Pawan’s speech after the Visakha Ukku Deeksha which he staged at the Jana Sena party office near Vijayawada, Ambati reminded that it was JS which has a tie-up with the BJP at the Centre. Why do you keep castigating the YCP government for doing nothing to prevent the privatization when you can directly speak to Modi about it?
Pawan Kalyan is a confusion master who lacks a focus. He speaks of communal differences and enemies in a democratic set up and this is strange, he said. You just have some psycho fans who keep blowing whistles and you speak whatever comes on your lips, Ambati said.
In fact, VSP is Centre’s property and they have every right to do whatever they want but the YCP raised its voice because Andhra people are connected to VSP sentimentally, he said.
Don’t you have the guts to question the Centre, Ambati asked and said that Pawan cannot dare to criticize the BJP. Wherever he goes, Pawan criticizes YCP government even when it is irrelevant. He had been criticizing us even when we were in the Opposition, he reminded.
Pawan staged a hunger strike for VSP but never made a mention of it during his speech after withdrawing his 10-5 fast. Are you fighting for the people or just targeting the YCP government, he asked.
He advised Pawan to keep observing the politics in AP and then speak rather than make a public appearance once in 6 months whenever there is a gap between call sheets. It is true that AP has huge debts but you seem to have forgotten that the Centre, led by your friend Modi, also has not repaid loans of Rs 120-crore lakhs. Why have you not raised this point?
The YCP leader reiterated that Pawan was an opportunist who keeps forging alliances with whoever is available at a given point of time.
