The Telangana government has once again ordered the private labs in the state not to conduct Covid-19 tests. This is for the second time, the Telangana government has ordered to do so in less than a week’s time.
The fresh order of the government will last for four days. However the state government did not cite any specific reason to the media but has summoned all the private labs to stop doing Covid-19 tests.
Ever since, the Telangana government has permitted the private labs to conduct Covid-19 tests, there are many complaints. Some of them include private labs charging a bomb to perform the test and the other thing is, private labs are not providing accurate results.
Based on this, the last weekend, the Telangana government asked private labs to stop Covid-19 tests for two days. They resumed again on Tuesday but again, the government has put breaks from Thursday.
The TRS government seems to have completely lost its direction on Covid-19 situation in the state. They are taking confusing decisions every alternative day and reducing the number of tests. The state government is not bothering the High Court’s directives too.
