Your Courage, Bravery, Sacrifice For Motherland is Supreme : Modi To Soldiers
“Your courage, your bravery and your sacrifice for the motherland is supreme. Your life is not less than anyone in the world. The difficulties with which at this elevation you are protecting the motherland and serving India, no can match up to that in the entire world. Your courage is taller than the elevation where you are positioned. Your will is firmer than the valleys you guard. Your arms are stronger than the mountains around you. I have seen it with my own eyes. When the safety of our nation is in your hands, the whole country has faith in you and the country does not worry as long as you are here.
‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ gets even stronger with your bravery. The bravery you and your friends have displayed have shown the entire world our strength and grit. I can see women soldiers here. There is nothing less on the battlefield. Today, I hail you, I praise you, I salute. I also express my gratitude and condolences to the soldiers who laid down their lives in the Galwan Valley clash. The whole country has seen your Fire and Fury. The bravery of 14 Corps will be talked about everywhere. Tales of your bravery and valour are echoing in every house in the country. We are those people who worship the flautist Lord Krishna. We are also those same people who worship the Krishna that wields the ‘Sudarshan Chakra’.”
“Those who are weak can never initiate peace, bravery is a prerequisite for peace. The whole globe has seen and understood India’s pledge for world peace. We have always worked for humanity. And you all are leaders of this pledge. Whether World Wars or peace, whenever the need arises, the world has seen the victory of our braves and their efforts towards peace. We have worked for the betterment of humanity. Age of expansionism is over, this is the age of development. History has witnessed that expansionist forces have either lost or were forced to turn back,” PM Modi told soldiers in Leh.
