Is Telugu Desam looking at Jana Sena for an alliance ahead of the next general elections? The TDP leadership never commented on it but many TDP leaders seem to want the impact. Former Legislative Council chairman Shareef who is also TDP’s Politburo member said that TDP, Jana Sena and Left parties should come together to defeat the YCP in 2024.
TDP Shareef’s comments were not well received by the Jana Sena. The party’s prominent leader Bolisetti Satyanarayana reacted to TDP and Jana Sena’s alliance rumours and he kind of criticized the TDP for spreading unauthenticated reports against Jana Sena.
“In 2019 elections, both TDP and YCP misled the people that voting for Pawan and Jana Sena would be pointless. Even after two and half years, this false campaign against Jana Sena did not stop. Our chief Pawan Kalyan has strongly countered the statements to Chandrababu’s comments. We urge people not to believe in rumours against Jana Sena,” remarked Bolisetti, taking to his Twitter handle.
The Jana Sena leader further added that our party’s support to TDP was never for its benefit but only in view of public interests. “Nara Lokesh speaks highly of YCP’s corruption and when it comes to misleading people, both TDP and YCP are twin mischiefs. The coming days are going to be Jana Sena’s and Pawan will be the ruler,” summed Bolisetti.
These comments clearly suggest that Jana Sena is in no mood to reunite with TDP or Left parties. But Jana Sena’s alliance with BJP will not benefit the party in any manner because of the ‘Special Status’ and Vizag steel plant privatization issues. Like in 2019, Jana Sena has to go solo to win the people’s trust.
