There seems to be no ending to the attacks and counter attacks by the leaders of the ruling YCP and Opposition TDP in Andhra Pradesh.
TDP Leader Vangaveeti Radha’s statement on recce conducted to murder him is the latest topic on which the leaders are sparring with each other.
Endowments minister Vellampalli Srinivas asked TDP MLA Vangaveeti Radha to stop acting under the direction of their party boss and former chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. In the political circles, Radha is a forgotten name and for the same reason, he is trying to gain attention by making statements on life threat and recce at his house, Vellampalli said.
If Radha has clues about who conducted the recce for his murder at his house, he should speak about it, Vellampalli said. The minister also said that Radha should reveal the names of persons from whom he has a threat.
Vellampalli suggested that Radha should know the real reasons behind his father Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga’s protest during the TDP rule. Radha should also remember that he is associated with the same party with which his father Ranga was associated and murdered during the same time.
The minister also asked if Ranga had lodged a formal complaint on the ‘recce’. Radha’s house is on the main road and if any car moves at that place, can that be called a ‘recce’, he asked.
“Chandrababu Naidu is just making Radha enact a drama. Why were gunmen sent back when Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy had deputed them at Radha’s house. You said there is a threat to your life and when Jagan tried to strengthen the security, you denied it,” Vellampalli reminded and also asked Radha to know who had responded to his statements first.
The CM had sent gunmen to Radha’s house right on December 26, the same day when the TDP MLA spoke about the recce while Chandrababu visited Radha five days after the statement, the minister pointed out.
