YCP minister Kodali Nani who is the centre of casino controversy, thanked AP CM YS Jagan for naming the new district after the pride of Telugu community, NTR. “It was during his Paadayatra that Jagan promised to name a district after legendary NTR and he kept his promise. On behalf of NTR fans, I bow down to CM Jagan,” said Kodali.
Then Kodali put in place a new demand that both NTR and YSR should be conferred with Bharat Ratna, the country’s highest civilian award. Well the demand for Bharat Ratna to NTR is long pending but Bharat Ratna for YSR is something no one ever voiced for. Are there any backers from the YCP party for the same? Let’s leave it to them.
Kodali also reacted to the casino controversy and indirectly accepted that the casino was held in Gudivada. “Casino was held for just three days but TDP is campaigning that there is casino culture for all the 365 days,” he said and this means he has knowledge of casino events during Sankranthi festival.
Criticizing the TDP, Kodali added that if given a chance, TDP ‘Chillara’ boys will also complain to the US President Joe Biden on the casino row.
