Telangana CM KCR ripped apart the BJP led NDA government on the union budget introduced by FM Nirmala Sitharaman earlier in the day. Firstly KCR targeted FM Nirmala who recited Shloka’s from MahaBharat which shows the path of Dharma but the budget is completely ‘Adharma.’
On the budget allocations, KCR criticised the Modi government that it is cutting the funds by a big margin and the current allocations are insufficient. “For the SCs, STs, the budget announced by GoI is Rs 12,000 crore whereas Telangana state is spending a whopping Rs 33,000 crore. According to GoI estimates, the population of SCs and STs has come down which is untrue. As per my knowledge their population has gone up,” said KCR.
On the farming sector, KCR slammed the Modi government for inadequate allocations. “700 farmers have died protesting against the black farms laws. PM Modi apologised to them but where are the measures for farmers? Instead of doubling the income of farmers, the PM Modi government doubled the investment of farmers and pushed them into deep troubles. This government also cut down the budget for rural development by Rs 25,000 crore,” stated KCR.
Taking on PM Modi, KCR blasted the Gujarat Model. “Our government allotted land and funds for an international Arbitrary Centre in Hyderabad but Modi pressurised the Chief Justice of India to shift it to Ahmedabad. Where is the promised Rs 15 Lakh for the common man? This government encouraged fraudsters and they looted the country and left abroad. Modi is acting like the PM of Gujarat instead of India,” said KCR.
Dragging the Congress, KCR said both BJP and Congress have failed to lead the nation towards progress. “This BJP should be thrown away in the Bay of Bengal because of the policies it is approaching towards the people of the nation. It’s a shame that in 75 years of Independence, the country is going downwards. I have no clue which party will win in Uttar Pradesh but BJP will definitely lose seats. This will be the beginning of BJP’s downfall for the 2024 elections,” opined KCR.
Calling the integration of rivers a big joke, KCR said that the Telugu states have complete authority in Godavari river and there are many cases pending with the Tribunal. When these cases are unsolved, how come the GoI wants to integrate the Godavari river with Cauveri? This country has 65,000 TMC of water but only 35K TMC of water is being used. In the last eight years, the Modi government failed to address the issue of drinking water and now they have allotted Rs 60,000 crore. In Telangana with four crore people, we allocated Rs 40,000 crore.
Finally on his aspirations of national politics, KCR commented diplomatically. “Not just to Left parties, I will speak to everyone who is ready to walk with us. As a responsible citizen of India, I will have to protect the country from evil forces like BJP and Congress. Also very soon retired IAS, IPS and other bureaucrats will be meeting in Hyderabad to discuss about the country,” signed off KCR.
