The success of 2019 elections made AP CM YS Jagan highly religious. On Monday, Jagan paid a visit to the 216-foot Statue of Equality at Muchintal, Hyderabad. Jagan took part in the 12-day Sri Ramanuja Sahasrabdi Samaroham, Sri Ramanujacharya’s 1000th birth anniversary celebrations.
Speaking on the occasion Chinna Jeeyar Swamy was full of praise for CM Jagan. “Generally people who have education, wealth, age and power are arrogant and ignore the advice of elders. But Jagan doesn’t belong here. He is modest and respects elders and is a good listener of elders’ suggestions,” said Chinna Jeeyar Swamy.
Comparing Jagan with YSR, Swamy ji further added that “I have acquaintance with YSR and I see many similarities between YSR and Jagan. YSR worked for everyone and Jagan is also doing the same irrespective of criteria. But what surprised me is Jagan’s work in the education sector in AP. I learned that kids from weaker backgrounds are getting high quality education and he has a strong determination.”
Chinna Jeeyar Swamy also mentioned the contributions of AP government at Statue of Equality. “Post Sankranthi festival, MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy is at Muchintal and looking after the arrangements. He told me that he is working as per the directions of CM Jagan and it’s a noble gesture,” said Chinna Jeeyar Swamy.
TTD chairman YV Subba Reddy, AP Endowment minister Vempalli Srinivas Reddy were also present during Jagan’s visit.
