TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao reiterated his stand on national politics and made a clear cut statement that he is ready to take on the politicians in Delhi. The TRS hosted a massive public meeting in Janagoan and in this very meeting KCR opened up about his national ambitions.
“Our Telangana is progressing extremely well compared to other states in India. Yet Telangana has a lot to achieve but we can influence other states. If there is a necessity we shall have to play a crucial role for the country. The people of Siddipet have blessed me to achieve Telangana separate statehood and now I need the entire Telangana’s support to break the wall of Delhi politics. I’m ready,” said KCR.
The Telangana CM also came down heavily on PM Modi and this is for the first time that he openly targeted Modi in a public meeting. “With Mission Kakatiya and Bhageeradha, we have resolved the drinking and irrigation water problems. But the PM Modi sarkar is trying to create more troubles for farmers. The BJP government is pressuring to put metres to the farming borewells and I’m hell bent against it. The Modi government did not give any national status to any of the irrigation projects, any medical college and other educational institutes to Telangana. Yet we are not disappointed but the BJP government wants to create unrest in Telangana society and I will not tolerate it. Once we make our mark in Delhi, we shall throw out the country,” said KCR.
With KCR’s comments, he launched a direct fight with the BJP and it is official that TRS is thinking the saffron party is its prime opponent in Telangana. So we may see a lot of verbal war, drama between TRS and BJP in the coming days.
