In a ridiculous warning to the voters, Telangana BJP MLA Raja Singh threatened the people of Uttar Pradesh that they should vote for BJP and CM Yogi Adityanath if they wish to stay in the state. UP went for the round two of polling on Monday and upon completion of the polling, Raja Singh posted a video on social media and this has gone viral.
“I looked at the trend of polling and noticed that at many places the highest polling percentage is reported. I reckon that people who do not want Yogi to continue as CM and BJP ruling the state, came out and voted against us,” said Raja Singh.
“I appeal to the Hindu brothers and sisters to come out and vote. And I have a message for people who did not and wish not to vote for the BJP. All the areas and voters will be identified who will not vote for BJP and Yogi has already deployed all hundreds of JCBs and Bulldozers around UP and after the polling they will be driven out of the state. People who wish to stay in UP should have to support and vote for Yogi,” added Raja Singh.
This is outrageous of the BJP MLA to warn people to vote for his party. What is the Election Commission of India doing even after the video created a huge storm in the political circles? Seems like the ECI has turned mute spectator and it’s a shame that a constitutional body is not protecting the rights of voters.
