TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao has intensified his fight against the BJP and is not wasting much time on gathering support from parties that are against the BJP. Last night former PM Deve Gowda called on KCR and discussed fighting against the BJP. Now KCR is set to fly to Mumbai to meet the Maharashtra CM.
On February 20th, KCR will be flying to Mumbai and will meet Uddhav Thackeray. KCR is likely to pitch for a third front before Uddhav and might also seek the Shiv Sena’s support. TRS insiders also say that KCR is also planning for an appointment of Sharad Pawar, Nationalistic Congress party (NCP) who is KCR’s long-time friend.
Once Sharad Pawar’s appointment is confirmed, KCR is going to have a busy schedule in Mumbai.
TRS leader B Vinod who is advisor to the Telangana government and a few TRS ministers will also accompany KCR in his Mumbai visit.
So yet again KCR has resumed his idea of Third/Federal Front and we have to see how successful he can be. But this time KCR is having the support of popular political strategist Prashant Kishor and the TRS party is keeping its fingers crossed.
