The untimely demise of AP IT minister Mekapati Goutham Reddy sent shock waves in the Telugu states. But sadly a negative campaign is being widely circulated on social media regarding Goutham’s death and to shut these speculations, the family of Mekapati issued a statement describing the series of events that took place on Monday morning.
Time and events
— Goutham Reddy attended a wedding on Sunday night and reached home at 9:35 PM.
— Goutham woke at 6 AM and till 6:30 AM, he browsed his phone.
— At 7 AM, Goutham reached the second floor and seated himself on the sofa.
— 12 minutes later, at 7:12 AM, Goutham informed the cook to call driver Nageswara Rao.
— At 7:15 AM, Goutham suffered a heart stroke and slipped from the sofa to the floor.
— Seeing this Goutham’s wife Srikeerthi was worried and panicked.
— At 7:18 AM, driver Nageswara provided minor relief to Goutham by rubbing his chest.
— Two minutes later Srikeerthi sensed something wasn’t right as Goutham was not even in the position to drink water.
— Another two minutes later Goutham complained of severe pain to his wife Srikeerthi and immediately his wife and driver rushed Goutham to hospital.
— Goutham was admitted to Apollo hospitals at 7:27 AM. The driver covered 3 kilometre distance in five minutes.
— After admitting, the doctors checked his pulse and it was normal at 8:15 AM. They continued to treat Goutham.
— At 9:13 AM, doctors confirmed that Goutham Reddy breathed his last.
— At 9:15 AM, the Apollo doctors declared Goutham Reddy dead.
