YCP Minister Kodali Nani has expressed his views on the ongoing debate over the Andhra government’s strict and alleged biased rules on cinemas, especially during Pawan Kalyan starrer Bheemla Nayak’s release time.
Nani said that CM Jagan did not impose any special restrictions on Bheemla Nayak. He took examples of how Akhanda, Pushpa, and Bangarraju were released and reached triumphantly under the same ticket pricing and rules.
”Bangarraju is our good friend Nagarjuna’s film. This film was directed by our own MLA Kanna Babu’s brother. However, Jagan did not give any special treatment for the film. It was released like any other movie here,” he added. Kodali stressed the point that Jagan was never desperate to bring down Bheemla Nayak because it is Pawan Kalyan’s film.
”Jagan was neither biased nor was desperate. All movies were treated equally, including Kanna Babu’s brother’s film Bangarraju”. The minister further argued that Jagan did not allow black tickets for Bangarraju and any news on that is a hoax. “Because Pawan Kalyan is our opposition and Nagarjuna is our friend, it does not mean AP government is biased. Jagan only thought about people and he is least worried about friends and enemies at the moment,” Kodali added.
He fired on Chandrababu Naidu for showing love for Pawan Kalyan’s film. “To keep up their party, Naidu and others are now overpouring their love for Bheemla Nayak. Continuously bashing our CM with some nonsense news and creating the image that Jagan and PK are involved in a war is nothing but tactics played by the TDP,” he added.
