Nellore MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy, 77-year-old senior politician in Nellore district, who lost his son and IT minister Mekapati Goutham Reddy, is yet to digest the untimely demise of his 50-year-old son. Mekapati has spoken to local media the other day and expressed grief over the irreplaceable loss incurred to him at this age. He said, “God is so so unkind to us. I thought my son would cremate me. Never I have imagined that this would happen.”
During this, Mekapati also made some political comments that gained a lot of significance. Mekapati appealed to CM Jagan to develop the state by bringing a lot of investments and world-class companies to the state.
He added that AP has a huge potential to develop and progress due to its geographical situation with 975 km coastline. Hyderabad is developed by entrepreneurs from Seemandhra largely in addition to Telangana. He stated that AP is full of entrepreneurs and they need to be encouraged to set up businesses in the state.
Mekapati also made some interesting comments on state capital. He said that the capital should be easily accessible and centrally located. He said that petty issues shouldn’t be considered while taking such large decisions. He also stated that earning crores of money is of no use and stated that instead asked to serve the people. He made these comments in a philosophical way.
The senior politician stated that the people of Godavari districts are with Jagan. He said a popular Raju garu has recently come from Godavari district to console him and stated that Jagan has no looking back in next general election in Godavari region. He said Jagan wave is still in Godavari districts.
Overall, Mekapati’s political comments have become hot topic.
